O programa humorístico Le Iene, que numa tradução livre o nome seria “as hienas”, é bastante popular na Itália. Trata-se da versão do CQC apresentado pela TV de lá. Em outras ocasiões eles já deixaram o clero romano em maus lençóis. Algum tempo atrás, por exemplo, fizeram uma gravação com câmera escondida mostrando o comportamento sexual licencioso de alguns sacerdotes.Desta vez, deram um passo além e foram até a Praça de São Pedro, no Vaticano, para investigar um assunto doutrinário básico.
Os sacerdotes entrevistados mostraram-se inseguros e hesitantes diante da câmera. A maioria foi incapaz de responder a perguntas simples como qual é o quinto ou o sétimo mandamento. Claro, todos tinham desculpas para justificar seu desconhecimento.
Parece estranho que eles não saibam os mandamentos básicos da lei de Deus. Todo bom cristãos deveria conhecer de cor os Dez Mandamentos, que afinal são à base da fé judaica e também cristã. A repórter, de microfone em punho, deu uma volta pelo Vaticano, centro do catolicismo, e perguntava aos sacerdotes que passavam coisas simples como: Qual é o oitavo mandamento? E quanto ao quinto? E o décimo?
Apenas o cardeal brasileiro Cláudio Hummes, ex-prefeito da Congregação para o Clero, conseguiu responder de forma adequada. Os outros entrevistados são provenientes de vários países e falam línguas diferentes (como espanhol e inglês). Porém,a dificuldade não foi responder em italiano.
A repórter disse que podiam citar como lembravam, em sua própria língua. Alguns lembravam apenas da frase de Jesus, que os resumiu no Novo Testamento: “Amar a Deus sobre a todas as coisas e o próximo como a si mesmo”. Outros mencionaram mandamentos que sequer existem na Bíblia. Um deles pediu ajuda para o câmera. Há, inclusive, quem afirmasse que o importante não é saber os mandamentos, mas reconhecer que todos se resumem a um só: o amor.
A exibição teve repercussões dentro e fora da igreja católica: “Eu não vi a gravação, mas registrei os ecos negativos em muitos cristãos e também em alguns não católicos e não crentes. Percebi um forte desconforto”, explica o bispo Luigi Negri.
“Demonstra-se que a verdadeira crise que a Igreja Católica atravessa é uma crise de caráter cultural. Isto é, uma crise de cultura primária.
